Propose a topic and *staffing for your term project.

Naturally you do not know how to do everything in your proposed project at the time you prepare your proposal, but you can expect to learn how to do each of the bullet points during this course.

The project must be a paper and documented PowerShell script demonstrating, at a minimum:

At least one variable
At least one decision
At least one loop
At least one pipeline
At least one code block
At least one loop
At least one function definition and at least one call for that function
Favorable consideration will be given to projects with real world network administration value.

The paper is part of the documentation for the script. It must identify the problem you are solving with the script, your approach to solving the problem and the benefit your foresee coming from the script. Additionally, you must document in the paper any portion of the script that you obtained from other sources. Use APA style for the paper.

Consider making this project a part of your portfolio. Think in terms of clarity and high quality from the beginning. You can do more than a school project; you can help to land a job.

*Staffing

You may do the project by yourself, you may partner with one person or you may team with two persons. Your partner/team mates must also propose the same project and list you as partner/team mate. Teams may not be larger than three people without my approval. More will be expected from partners than from individuals; still more from teams. Pick a project that will require you to learn and grow.

Assignment

Submit an outline of the problem, your idea of an approach to solving it. describe the benefit of your anticipated solution. Each student must upload their document, even if working in a group. If working in pre-approved groups, the name of each member of the group must be displayed.
