It is required to select a project from the following list: Mall; Bridge; Tunnel; Stadium; Educational Building; Hospital; office building or Hotel. Break the project down into a detailed level of a minimum of 50 activities then perform the following processes:
1. Create a WBS (detailed)
2. Create a list of construction activities
3. Determine the logical relationships among activities
4. Draw the AOA and AON networks and time scaled diagram for the project
5. Estimate activities' times, costs and resources
6. Schedule the project using the CPM and determine the ES, EF, LS, LF, TF, FF, IF for all activities
7. Select five key resources that are shared among several activities and load them according to the early activity times.
8. Minimize the fluctuation in resources' usage as much as possible.
9. Consider 80% of the maximum usage of each resource and limit your resource availability to these numbers then reschedule the project under these constraints.
10. Bonus: Draw the final bar chart and use it to conduct your cash flow calculations considering the following:
- 10% down payment, 15% markup, 5% retention, 19% interest rate /year
A full report showing a brief description of the project in addition to the above processes and a presentation.
