Keyboard

Keyboard is the device through which the commands, instructions required for execution of a program is entered. It consists of a number of keys with alphabet, numbers and other characters printed. By pressing the keys the commands are passed into the CPU.

Mouse

Mouse is a pointing device, which is used in Graphical User Interface. The pointer of the mouse can be moved on the display unit of the computer by moving the mouse on the mouse pad. It generally consists two buttons and can have more buttons also. The commands in Graphical User Interface are represented as objects.  By pressing the button on the mouse facilitates selecting the required object thereby initiating the command the object is associated with.
