In your capacity as a systems analyst, you may face situations in which you encounter an ethical dilemma. For example, you may be asked to design a system that supports an activity with which you personally disagree. The misalignment between your professional ethics and the project could be cultural, religious, organizational, or societal. In this Discussion, you will apply your ethical principles to the job of the systems analyst, determining how to meet the needs of the project but still maintain your own professional code of ethics.

Using your readings, Internet searches, and your  own personal "code of ethics," determine the ethical principles that would  guide your professional work as a systems analyst. Then, consider a situation  in which one of those principles may be tested as you analyze and design a system for an organization. What strategies might you use to meet the needs of  your organization, its stakeholders, employees, or customers, while still keeping  to your personal code? What situations might cause you to make personal  compromises?
