For this assignment, you will play the role of an employee who's been asked to present a convincing argument on why the company should move from a conventional client based productivity suite, MS Office 2010, to a cloud based productivity suite. Feel free to use your imagination in deciding what sort of business you're working for. It's not a vital part of the assignment.

Based on what you have learned about using cloud based office productivity software, develop a 10-15 slide presentation to a department head or the CEO of your company to convince them that this would benefit their business. Use the speaker notes, or notes section of the slides to add technical detail. This assignment is worth 10% of your course grade, and should reflect approximately 4-5 hours of research and development.

State the business problem. Maintaining separate copies of MS Office on hundreds of workstations has its downfalls compared to the cloud, right? Make sure you're aware of the motivations for moving away from conventional installed applications and to the cloud. This is a major point within the paper.

Explain how cloud based office productivity software is different, and how it benefits the business. Choose which cloud based suite you want to advocate (Office 365, Google Apps, or iWorks) and state why you're making that recommendation.
