The averaging algorithm proposed by Lamport et al. works for a totally connected network of clocks. Will such an averaging algorithm for clock synchronization work on a cycle of n clocks, of that m be able to show two-faced behaviour, and n > 3m? Suppose that each link in cycle allows bidirectional communication.
