Docking percolation and fire Often when looking at the Fire model we ask what density of trees is necessary to reach the right side of the screen. We can ask the same question about the porosity value in the Percolation model and whether or not the oil in that model reaches the bottom of the screen. Modify the size of the world in the Percolation model so that it is similar to the Fire Simple model. What values of porosity do you need to get to the bottom of the screen? What values of tree density do you need to get to the right side of the screen in Fire? Are these values the same? If not can you explain why they might be different? If they are the same can you explain why that is?
