Ans: An I/O interface consists of circuitry needed to connect an I/O device to computer bus. One side consists of a data path contain its linked controls to transfer data among the I/O device and interface. It is called port. It can classify into:

  •   Serial port.
  •   Parallel port

Ans: It is the short form for small computer system interface. It refers to a standard bus defined ANSI. Component such as disks are linked to a computer using 50-wire cable, which 25 meters long in length and may transfer data at rate up to 55megabytes/s.
