t_m= (125 x 10³)/(2500 x 2) = 25ns

c= 2 x 2500 = 5000 units

This switch is non-blocking and supports complete availability. An equivalent particular stage space division that uses a matrix of 2500 x 2500. Therefore, the cost of such a switch is 6.25 million units.

Cost advantage of time switch = (6.25 x 10⁶)/5000 = 1250
