Because of the information systems are capable of storing and compiling the large amount of the data, several people worry that, and their private data will end up in the wrong hands. At one extreme, there exists criminals who utilize information systems in order to steal the recognize of others. These criminals apply for the credit cards, mortgages, and bank accounts utilizing the private data, like Social Security number, of others. At other extreme are organizations which collect the information through their information systems solely for serving their customers better.
