For Your Success

This module provides you with detailed information about some pretty complex technology concepts. If you do not have an extensive background in IT, be sure to spend ample time with the materials. You are strongly encouraged to answer the Check Your Understanding questions for this module. These additional questions will help you hone your competence and provide you a stronger background in IT as you progress through the rest of this course.

The discussion question avails you an opportunity to present your perspective on the discussion topic (obviously supported by research) and to interact with your classmates regarding their perspectives. This form of interaction facilitates active knowledge construction in adult learners. Your first Discussion Forum is this week. Be sure to post your initial response early and check back frequently.

This week, your instructor will host the first of seven require Live Sessions in the course. Your instructor will communicate the logistics around the session. While you are encouraged to participate in the Live Session to maximize real-time interaction with your instructor, you may listen to the recording at a later date if you are unable to attend.
