• Using the Internet, find the current number of students enrolled in five colleges in Cincinnati, Ohio. Create a spreadsheet that lists those colleges and their enrollments. Then, use the sum function to show the enrollment totals, and divide to show an average of the five. (Save the document as Colleges and your name)

• Create any spreadsheet of your choice, but use the sum function and show that you can divide numbers to show an average. (This could be a project you are already completing for work or a budget etc.) Be sure to include internet research for some of the data in your spreadsheet. (For budgeting you may want to check out Dave Ramsey, Fidelity, Susie Orman, Charles Schawb, etc).

• You are consolidating your life and have items in storage you would like to sell. Because you are not yet sure about the value of these items, you need to gather research information (data) about them. Identify a list of at least ten item that you have in storage that you would like to sell as quickly, efficiently, and inexpensively as possible. They can range from large items to small items. Your spreadsheet should contain the following information: Item, Cost, Sell For, Sold Donated. Use a web browser search engine to price your item. Use the Sum function to find the total you made on sales, the average of each item sold etc. (Save the document as Items for Sale and your name).
