Abstract:

Give a brief overview of the aims, methods and expected findings of your work, and your contribution in this project. Write each of these points as small paragraph.

Abstract

Background and Aim:

You need to write the background related to the specific problem you are working on it in your project. You also need to write your project aim that need to be linked with the specific problem you set.

Background: Augmented reality based surgeries have not been successfully implemented in oral and maxillofacial areas due to limitations in geometric accuracy and image registration. This paper aimed to improve the accuracy and depth perception of the augmented video.

Methodology:

Write about the components of your proposed system, name your proposed system, and mention what does your proposed system do and how. Methodology: The proposed system consists of a Rotational Matrix and Translation Vector (RMaTV) algorithm to reduce the geometric error and improve the depth perception by including two-stereo cameras and translucent mirror in the operating room.

Expected Results:

Compare theexpected results of your proposed system with the state of art results (first current best).

Expected Results: The result on mandible/maxilla area shows that the new algorithm improve the video accuracy by 0.30 ~ 0.40mm (in terms of overlay error), and processing time with 10-13 frames/second compared to 7-10 frames in existing system. The depth perception increased by 90~100mm.

Conclusion:

You need to write about your contribution.

Conclusion: The proposed system concentrates on reducing the geometric error. Thus, this study provides an acceptable range of accuracy with less operating time which provides surgeons with a smooth surgical flow.

Articles:

1. A Novel Rotational Matrix and Translation Vector (RMaTV) algorithms: Geometric Accuracy for Augmented Reality (AR) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeries.

2. A Novel Path Quality and Segmented Backup for Surgical Telepresence.

3. A Novel Surgical Telepresence Security: Enhanced Advanced Encryption Standard (EAES) Algorithm during Surgery and Surgeons' Authentication Pre and Post Surgery.
