Explain why lifelong learning is necessary in engineering disciplines. Finally, identify and describe at least one professional society that would be beneficial to you. Discuss why the chosen society would benefit you, and how you might help other members. Be sure to address how this organization supports the application of standards within the chosen discipline, and what role the organization serves in promoting these standards.
