Assessment Guidelines and Tasks

Part -1:

With reference to the attached drawing sheets the following items must be addressed;

All pipe diameters, class and type to be clearly identified.

Detail of gas entry point along with design pressure to be indicated - refer drawing sheet 2014

Indicate final position of these two additional gas appliances on attached answer sheet

i.e; HWU and BBQ bayonet connection, cook top and fire place already indicated.

Total MJ / hour load fpr all appliances to be indicated.

Gas working pressures to be indicated (consumer piping and appliances).

Sizing table (flow calculations) to be developed including index lengths as applicable.

Flueing details including associated calculation for air supply, to be addressed.

Completed material list along with labour hours to be used in CPCPCM 4012A Estimate and Cost.

i.e; sample Excel spreadsheet can be used for this assessment item.

This assignment cover sheet to be completed including, signatures and name and dates. All work submitted must be in ink (Cert IV qualification) i.e; pencil sketches not allowed

NOTE: You may draw in pencil and go over with ink and erase and trace of pencil

Work must be submitted and signed off by the assessment date; refer front page.

Part -2:

With reference to the attached drawing sheets the following items must be addressed:

All Pipe diameters, class and type to be clearly identified.

Detail of gas entry point along with design pressure to be indicated - refer drawing sheet 2017

Select the copper installation that complies with AS 5601.2:3010.

The system selected must cater for all the gas appliances illustrated along with the appropriate combustible gas detection system to serve such craft.

Indicate the LPG storage facility.

The system must comply with sections 3 to 9 respectively.

Working drawing sheet A3 - for All Gassed Up is attached.

All pipework illustrated on your answer sheet is to be of a single line format.

Standard symbols and abbreviation as illustrated on the attached assessment item to be used

Total MJ / hour load fpr all appliances to be indicated.

Gas working pressures to be indicated (consumer piping and appliances).

Part -3:

Thermann 26LP60 Gas Contuis Flow Hot Water Unit per unit

Total MJ / hour load fpr all appliances to be indicated.

Gas working pressures to be indicated (consumer piping and appliances).

Sizing table (flow calculations) to be developed including index lengths as applicable.

Flueing details including associated calculation for air supply, to be addressed.

Meter location and distances required

Location of bottels and first stage regulator

This assignment cover sheet to be completed including, signatures and name and dates. All work submitted must be in ink (Cert IV qualification) i.e; pencil sketches not allowed NOTE: You may draw in pencil and go over with ink and erase and trace of pencil.
