As with any program that continues to evolve, Adobe Photoshop CS5 unrolled several new features as it continued to be the leader of image manipulation. The most striking feature to me is the content-aware fill. Basically, this feature allows the user to select an object in the image or a portion of the image that they wish to remove and fills that empty space in with a natural looking background that blends with the rest of the image. Another interesting feature of Photoshop CS5 is the Mixer Brush, which is a tool that can take the sharpest image and give the look of smooth, paintbrush strokes by blending together colors that the brush runs over; allowing the user to control the size of the stroke along with the wetness and bleeding of the colors.
