A relationship that may be derived mathematically exists between the number of neurons in a Hopfield network and the number of patterns that can be efficiently stored with a minimum probability of cross-talk. We know that the more neurons a neural network has, the more patterns it can remember even though each individual pattern involves all neurons across the network. Relate this to the human brain memory that contains about 100 billion neurons. How can you explain the fact that some people have better memories than others?
