A packet switch has 5 users, each offering packets at a rate of 10 pps. The average length of the packets is 1024 bits.

The packets switch needs to transmit this data over a 56-kbs WAN circuit.

Suppose users share a 3 Mbps link. Also suppose each user requires 150 kbps when transmitting, but each user transmits only 20 percent of the time, suppose packet switching is used and there are 225 users.

Find the probability that there are 63 or more users transmitting simultaneously.
