Weekly Marketing Activity on Db
1. Locate a current Marketingevent that relates to this week's readings. Post your initial response by 6:00 PM ET by the end of each week. All posts/replies should be in APA format including your resources. (See Resources and Policies in the Course Shell in Blue to your left)
2. You have the option to send your post to others in the class each week.
Purpose: In order to more successfully in this course, one should remain current in the world's marketing issues, updates, and changes. Being an informed marketer and discussing current events will give one a better perspective on different points of view on products and services currently being marketed which is related to what you have learned in the chapter readings.
Article Guidelines:
- Article must be current-within approximately one month of due date.
- Article must be relevant-should be only related to current marketing activities
- Article must be from appropriate source-NOT Wikipedia! (see suggestions below)
- Marketing activity should be posted in the Discussion Board comments.
Directions: Every week you will find a current marketing event or article and turn in a current events post. The news source should be digital.
Note: Specific directions for each section are given below.
- Summary: Summarize the main points of your article.
- Reflection: Think about your own opinion or reaction to the topic presented in the marketing activity. Do you agree or not? What is your position?
- Citing: Be sure to include a link to your electronic article for others to review.
