Explain and critically evaluate contemporary literature in the field of criminal justice

Identify ethical problems faced by individuals or communities and identify effective solutions

Explain the concept of social deviance and provide examples of deviant behavior in social context

Using the library, begin exploring articles that are related to deviant behavior in scholarly journals. Read a few of these articles and select one that you would like to concentrate on for this discussion. Pick an article that relates to an area of deviant behavior that is interesting to you and that you think you may want to concentrate on for your project.

Describe and discuss the article you have selected from the library about deviant behavior. Please make sure to include a full citation for this article. Why did you select this article? Describe the research questions that this article asked and discuss the type of data and research method that the author used in your article. How would this article need to be different if the author used a different source of primary data and a different research method? Would it be possible to answer the same questions? Why or why not? Provide feedback to your classmates about the articles that they have selected and discuss how you think their articles would be different using another data source.
