Ali, Mubarak and Ghani, three partners of AMG hotel recently moved in the new location for their small size 20 bed hotel in the city center of Ajman. The renovation work is going fine and it is going to be finished by next week. However, they have publically announced about their new location and also updated in the website. In AMG, the restaurant uses the point-of-sale systems (POS) for management reporting and operational activities. However the point-of-sales system used also for check-in and checkout of the guests.

Ghani, believes that with their new computer system they could do more in the area of hotel operation as well as operations in the restaurant.

He knows that, the operations of the hotel should focus more than the checking in and out of guest and more over the restaurant's operation should also simply not focus on just taking the orders from guest and sending back to the kitchen and print the bill. They were all thinking of intelligent information systems that could help them in making effective decisions in the business.
