Cite two additional reputable secondary sources on innovation architecture or on creating a culture of innovation in your reflection.

Interview: My manager is a leader to us and helps encourage us in many ways. Some days they may be completely upset with us, but then they step back look at what they didn't teach or how they can fix things and incorporate a better direction to all employees that way this issue no longer occurs with anyone. Knowing that at every job I have had was from the bottom and I worked my way up I feel that as I continue to grow, I am continuing to learn more. Because I am only 19, I feel that I am already with a slight advantage in how quickly I can pick things up and how much joy it brings me when I am there to help encourages others as well. Communication is key to success whether it is over how many people can be sat or how much food needs to be prepped. The slightest bit of bad communication can cause drama, mistakes, loss of money, etc. After beginning to train as a server, I started to see how deep managers are in the kitchen. They have to run a floor that has some type of plan and goal, they have to control the servers, and back up the food kitchen as well as food run. Another reason why I see management as an intense career path, but on that will be worth it. They love to watch us grow into young adults. If they ever yell at us I just think about the stress they are under and the fact that when they were younger, these simple mistakes were also made and they just want us to learn from it and grow. Managing any type of business takes a lot of time from family, from life, your sleep, etc. but in the end if you love it this is the strong route to go.

After watching all 8 of my manager's fall and rise, after all the research we put into this class, and after interviewing someone who has made it this far into the business, it feels amazing to see all different sides. I always saw managers as crazy or mean for the longest time until they really grew on to me. I am quiet type of person until you crack me out of my shell and really get to know me. Each manager personally connected with me on their own level, something you don't notice until you laugh a little and cry a little together. There are hard days where you don't get along because you butt heads and days where everything just flows. However, these managers are teaching us how to run businesses without us even knowing. After answering all the DQ's everything just added up to the fact that all my managers follow all the hidden steps to train us, to test us without us knowing, and to plan and execute. No one said it was going to be easy, but they've all said it is completely worth it. After watching my manager cry because she didn't have the action plan that district wanted it made me realize how hard it is and just how easy it is to be knocked down. I always thought they were just hard on us because we were young until I started to realize they were hard on us because they want things executed the proper way. I see all m managers as a parent to me. They make me feel comfortable enough to talk to them about anything, to learn anything that I can, to grow into training, or to just improve in general. They push us, but they know our limits and only want us to be like them. This showed me that if I continue to follow in their footsteps I need to know it isn't going to be easy, but having ambitious outgoing employees who feel comfortable around you can really turn someone's mindset from "I hate work" to "I love work, give me more hours".
