Question: Topic 2: 3D printing

- Explain how 3D printing works. Your presentation should discuss key elements of 3D printing and describe at least two current or proposed applications:

- What are the benefits to consumers and business?

- What risks and issues are associated with use (including privacy concerns)?

- Give examples of future applications for this information technology.

- Include a list of references as the final slide (minimum three references).

· This assessment task requires you to create a narrated Powerpoint presentation on a contemporary issue (assigned from the presentation topics) where information technology has been a useful tool in business.

· The purpose of this assessment task is for you to demonstrate your oral communication and presentation skills.

· Assessment details

· For all Windows/PC users, you can use narrated PowerPoint for your presentation.

· For PC users, here are instructions to the PowerPoint guides in the Student Portal.

· For all other Mac users, you can use Keynote. You can view instructions via the Apple Support page for Keynote for Mac: Add audio to a presentation.

· Please note: All assessments recorded using Keynote will need to convert their file to .MP4 format before submitting. Instructions on how to do this can be found on the Apple Support page for Import and export different files formats with Keynote.

· You will find a series of presentation topics below. You will be allocated ONE of these topic areas in Week 3.
