Question: The purpose of this assessment is to practise your research and writing skills and further investigate ideas that have formed within lectures and tutorials. Your commentary should express your understandings at the moment of the application of traditional practices in modern situations and the Maori perspective in the changing world which will have been discussed in lectures and in readings. There is an opportunity to express your perspectives on tikanga in traditional and contemporary Maori society.

2. Explain these cultural concepts within their application to a particular context.
