Question: Resort Co. used the trade name Dollar-A-Day for its auto rental company. When people who wished to rent cars inquired, they were told that the rental was obviously more than $1 per day. The rental company claimed that this trade name was not deceptive advertising because the public was informed of the actual rental cost before any rental contracts were signed.
