Project Management Plan

? You are to form groups of 3.
? Your initial task (Individual Assessment 2) was to scope a project for the project's sponsor.

? Subject to your lecturer's approval, one of your team member's scoping phase of their project proposal is now complete and you have been given the goahead to develop a full Project Management Plan.

YOU MUST SEE YOUR LECTURER FIRST.

? You will be assessed progressively during tutorials and consultation to ensure you are on track with the development of the project management plan (see below).

? You may choose an alternate project. Suggestions and alternate proposlas are encourged but you MUST OBTAIN APPROVAL FROM YOUR SUBJECT

CO-ORDINATOR FIRST.

Required:-

? Prepare a Project Management Plan for your project - use the template provided on moodle as a guide. Please note that you do not have to use the template provided but should include relevant content areas from it. Relevance will depend on the type of project you choose.

? Approximately 3,000 words for groups of three.
? Progress to be demonstrated in Weeks 7 and 9.
? You will be presenting your draft in Week 11 - All students must present. Details will be provided by Week 8.
? The final project plan is due at the end of your scheduled class in Week 12.

Assessment Breakdown
1. Preparation and progress (weeks 7 and 9) - 5%
2. Presentation - 10% (this component is assessed individually)
3. Group Report (Project Plan) - 20%
4. TOTAL - 35%
Please note that your participation in the group will be assessed and is subject to peer review. This will affect your separate assessment - Participation.

due date.

ASSIGNMENTS NOT SUBMITTED WILL BE DEEMED INCOMPLETE AND
PENALTIES FOR LATE ASSIGNMENTS WILL APPLY.
ASSIGNMENTS WHICH ARE SUBMITTED LATE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A LATE
PENALTY OF 10% OF THE AVAILABLE MARK FOR EACH DAY THE
ASSIGNMENT IS LATE UNLESS PRIOR APPROVAL IS OBTAINED.

A penalty of 10% of the available mark will be applied for each day the assessment is late.

If the assessment is more than one week late without acceptable reason or prior approval, your work will not be marked and you will receive a zero for this assessment.
