This course in HR I was hesitant at first. Human resources to me was a department on a different level and the thought why should I learn this crossed my mind. The thing is all knowledge is valuable especially when you are the leader leading others. Everything that you learn can be used in some shape or form you just have to look for the opportunity. Human Resource Management has taught me valuable concepts that I wouldn't have learned if I didn't take this course. It helps understand why Human Resource exists and their purpose.
I took a DISC personality test to discover the type of communication I use. I am an I which deals with influence. I encourage you if you are a leader or want to know more about yourself take this DISC test. It helps you to understand who you are. For leaders you need to know who you are so you are able to lead effectively. I am a people person who likes to work at a fast pace. I believe that business will only succeed if there are two satisfactory being met. Those are the Employee Satisfaction and Customer satisfaction. If your employees are happy they will make your customers happy. If your customers are not happy then your business won't sell. If your Employees are unhappy they can become abrasive and rash towards customers producing unhappy customers. Work is in everyone's life and we are all apart of this world. We spend more time at work then our own home sometimes. We need to understand as leaders or soon to be leaders that work life needs to be enjoyable.
