Entrepreneurial Research Plan Project

Students may opt to conduct detailed research on a particular topic that concerns or impacts (small) businesses or entrepreneurial firms.  Topics might include (but not be limited to) such topics as:

• General issues effecting business (positively or negatively)
• Technology related issues effecting business.
• Finance related issues effecting business.
• Demographic related issues effecting business.
• Logistic related issues effecting business.
• Human resource related issues effecting business.
• Globalization, climate change and other Macro-economic / social issues effecting business.

These are a few examples; I encourage you to explore these and many other topics that might impact the general business environment.

The Format for the paper should be as follows:

Introduction - brief overview of the general research you have selected to highlight and what type of issues / problems does it discuss.

Body of the paper

• Description of the Research you have Highlighted
• Describe the nature of the issues you have identified and how the research addresses / discusses them.

Summary and Conclusions

• Your thoughts on the research topic and the conclusions drawn from your research.
• Do you agree with the conclusions / opinions expressed in the research you have highlighted (why or why not)?
• What do you think might happen in the future concerning the issues you have researched and identified?
