Karen Lavale, Human Resource Manager of the Mika Ltd, recently called a meeting with Vik Shah, the Marketing Manager, in view of illuminating some issues which she deemed significant. It had been observed that during the last year, the rate of absenteeism in marketing department had doubled, and that many employees had resigned. Many of younger workers have been complaining about the lack of direction and support given by Vik.
