Assignment: Examine the Nature of the Multinational Company
Activity Description
Conceptualize you've been asked to create a PowerPoint presentation for an undergraduate business course on the nature of a multinational company. To prepare for this presentation, read Chapters 6 and 8 of your text book and use resources from Northcentral University's library, as well as the Internet. Find at least three scholarly articles from the library on multinational companies. Choose a multinational company and research its structure, background and locations.
In your presentation:
- Explain what a multinational company is.
- Describe how a company becomes a multinational.
- Assess strategies of Multinationals.
- What are the factors that affect the success or failure of MNCs
- Conduct an independent research, choose two scholarly articles on the internet and provide some empirical evidences on the experience of successful Multinationals.
Use the multinational company you researched as your example throughout your presentation.
Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as "speaker notes" for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists. Support your presentation with at least three (3) scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources may be included. Be sure to include citations for quotations and paraphrases with references in APA format and style where appropriate.
Length: 10-15 slides (with a separate reference slide).
Notes Length: 100-150 words for each slide.
