This summative assignment of 3,000 words (+/- 10%) is designed to allow the student to demonstrate their learning from the course.  The assignment will allow the student the opportunity to demonstrate key supply chain challenges for businesses in 2016, to explain why they are important, and to propose appropriate solutions. 

The Title of the Assignment is:

Taking the supply chain that you analysed in response to Assignment No 1, and drawing on appropriate academic theories, describe how the network could be improved in order that it delivers improved effectiveness and/or efficiency, and sustainability over the next decade.

As is Assignment No 1, a key aspect will be the use of appropriate academic models, and accurate and comprehensive set of references using the Harvard system. Please also note that there is no requirement to submit an Executive Summary or a List of Contents/Index
