Your final post will analyze a work for the exhibition. Choose one 16th century artwork produced outside Italy that you feel borrows on Italian ideas. Each of the following artists was inspired in some way by Italian ideas (El Greco, Hans Holbein the Elder, Mathias Grunewald), although there were certainly others artists.

In choosing one artwork by a non-Italian artist , identify it, noting artist, title, date, medium, and present location. Include a link (the url) to an image of this exhibition piece in your post.

After the identification:-

write a paragraph or two making a case for the Italian influence in your piece.

Describe details to help make your argument.

Include any information you have that might account for the artist's knowledge of Italian art.

Think of this last post as information for the museum visitor, a short essay that might be available as a gallery wall text or entry in the exhibition catalogue. The intent is to inform the museum-goer. Be sure to cite your sources.
