Modern construction projects are much complicated than before, such complexity, various phases, long periods and various involving parties are elements for exacerbate differences and disputes. One major subject of disputes is time since time leads also to cost effect. So, time is an important side of the Project triangle. If the project did not complete within its duration then the project mostly considered fail. Time overrun also means money loss and damages for the owner, penalties for contractors and suppliers, lost profits that could be achieved by operating the project and losing benefits to the public use of the project, which mean loss for everybody.

Part 02

Research Questions
The following research questions have been developed as part of the main conceptual framework for the selection of the most appropriate delay analysis methodology. Those were not directly asked in interviews. However, they were the main focus of the research.

- What are the common delay analysis methodologies in Kuwait?

- What are the factors influencing the selection of the delay analysis methodology and what role the delay analyst plays in the selection process?

- What is the most appropriate delay analysis method, if any, and what are the relevant appropriate circumstances?
