You need to make paraphrase for all answers only

1. Take a walk around the store. What are your initial feelings? What stands out? Make some initial observations.

It was last weekend when I visited a toy store. The toy store consisted of many toys; both for girls and boys. It was a good feeling to notice many children playing with the toys and others shopping for more with their parents. Smart toys stood out in all sections. They were well decorated and the bright colors drew attention for many shoppers. They were arranged according to gender and age.
To my observation, toys for girls had bright colors while boys' toys were dark. The first toy I noticed in the girls' aisle was a pink Barbie doll. The toy stood out from the rest. I noticed accessories such as brushes, clothes, cars and houses for the Barbie. Girls played according to the age group indicated on the boxes. I looked at the pictures on the boxes and noticed that they pictured different age groups. The colors also differed according to the age. For younger girls, they had bright colored dolls while the older girls had lightly colored dolls.

2. Walk down the "pink aisle." What do you notice? What are gender portrayals on the boxes? What kinds of things are the girls doing? Provide some examples of toys you find here.
On the pink aisles, I noticed that only girls' toys were present. Mostly, pink Barbie toys were displayed. The dolls were dressed in pink and other bright colors and the aisle looked very attractive. In the girls' aisle, girls seemed to play room decoration games, pet games, painting games, make over games, make up games, music games, fashion games, cooking games, and skill games. Some of the toys present are Barbie toys, camera toys, scooter toys, fashion toys, key board and piano toys.

3. Find the "boys aisle." What do you notice? What are gender portrayals on the boxes? What kinds of things are depicted? Provide some examples of toys you find here.
On the boys section, I noticed that dark colors especially black; dominated the aisle. The section consisted of action figures that had guns on hand. They also had swords and toy guns; something I didn't notice on the girls section. The boys' toys were also arranged according to the age groups. Mostly, they were action figure toys with weapons and blood dripping on the aisles. Boys played games like wrestling, karate and also bicycle riding. Some of the toys in these aisles included stampedes, trucks, airplanes, balls, play stations, gun toys, swords and wooden blocks.

4. Find the aisle of non gender specific toys. What types of toys are found here? What ages are they geared for?
On the non gender aisle, I noticed both girls and boys played the games. These included music games, kitchen games and sports like karate. I noticed people watching toy movies. The role play reflected issues affecting the society in toy animation form. It was interesting to notice children and adults from both genders enjoy the movies.

5. Find the wrestling toys. Note some o f the descriptions on the boxes. Find the most violent box description and write it down. Note what ages the toys are geared for
The wrestling toys were present on the boys' aisles. They had pictures of the world wrestling champions. There was a warning description on the wrestling boxes stating that children should not practice the game either at home or at school. They were targeted for children between the age of twelve and fifteen years. I also observed toys made for the adults. They were made to help people in exercises. These items included skipping ropes and balls. I noticed people watching toy stories which impressed me.

6. Look at the games. Find the games specifically targeted towards girls. What themes are present? Find the games specifically targeted towards boys. What themes are present?
Toys targeted for girls presented a cool theme of peace. This is to show how girls are gentle on handling things. On the boys' aisles, the toys indicated roughness and masculinity. The theme is to show how boys involve themselves in dangerous activities which disrupt peace. All the toy guns had a noticeable orange color on the coat.

7. Find the toy guns. What is available here? Do all the toy guns have a noticeable orange tip as required by law? What is the largest gun?
The largest toy gun was 10 inches with an orange color on the cap. I interacted with some of the workers to be informed more on the orange color labeling on the guns. I was told that it was an order by the law of the United States. This is to differentiate between the real and toy guns. All this was aimed at reducing activities of crime. It is against the law to sell toy guns without the orange color label.

8. Compare and contrast the female and male action figures. What do you notice about physique and dress?
The girls' toys were smartly dressed and they mostly displayed a figured girl structure. The boys' toys were masculine and not well dressed. Girls played games based for women chores like cooking and decoration. On the other side, boys concentrated on vehicles and airplanes others trying to repair the toys. I noticed both gender targeted different chores.

9. Locate some toys that are developmentally sound. Where are they located in the store and what kinds of toys are they?
Developmentally sound toys were hooked on phonics to produce a soft sound. These toys were located on non gender aisles for all infants between two and twelve months. Developmentally sound toys are designed to help growing children learn the sense of touch, seeing and feeling.

10. Locate toys that have media tie-ins. What are they? What do you think about them?
Media tie-ins toys are authorized products for the media or a company. Tie-ins are used to promote and generate additional income of the property or visibility of the media. This category of toys is made for media purpose.

Summarize your impressions
Toy stores consist of many toys for all ages. From the creativity, I found out that many people are talented in different ways. The toys help in educating young children. These toys are also used by the military on drills especially the toy guns. It is important to visit toy stores since one gets to learn a lot about gender interest. Toys are important in developing children. They enable them develop different skills that can be useful in future. It is clear that toys for girls and boys differ in appearance and each gender has a choice of toys.
I was so impressed by the toy stories. These are computer animated pictures. The animation was excellent and realistic at times. The twisted plot was a human story that dealt with rejection, alienation and trust. The impression was how the toys took Hollywood essential plots. The movie was amusing and rich in symbolism. This was a great impression to see toy animation perform close to human beings. The movies help both children and adults learn new ideas and also act as a form of entertainment.
