Assessment Task

You are required to complete an academic essay which critically evaluates the application of either of the following subject areas:

• Growth by franchise
• Family businesses ( If possible select any corporate firm from Internet, for example Samsung)

in relation to an entrepreneurial organisation of your choice.  You should use appropriate analytical theories/tools/concepts to help you do this. It should also include an overall critical review of the organisation chosen.

Both the topic and the organisation must be approved by your tutor before you commence work.

Please ensure you cite all your sources of information correctly and do not just cut and paste information from the organisation's website (or others).  Too many students have been found guilty of plagiarism on this unit in past years.

A Special Note: You are required to write a research proposal before conducting your research project. The Project Proposal generally represents an agreement between a supervisor and student as to the viability of the proposed project.  It requires the student to think very carefully about his/her intentions in conducting a project.
