Write an abstract on page 2 instead of an executive summary. Please individually research how to write an abstract. An abstract cannot be more than a 150 words and describes the purpose of the paper. Any reader should be able to have a succinct understanding of your entire paper by reading your abstract. The abstract follows the title page and must be on page two by itself.

On page three, first center the title of your paper again. This is followed by the introductory paragraph. Herein describe the industry and address the changes in scope of the industry (either an industry you are currently employed within or one that you would like to investigate and learn more about).

In paragraph two - summarize industry changes over the past five years.

In paragraph 3- Ascertain the type of industry and then describe whether the industry is emerging, maturing, declining, or fragmented.

In paragraphs 4/5 - utilize the portfolio matrix (you can also use the BCG Matrix or Strategic Group Mapping) to portray industry attractiveness and competitive strengths. Which competitor has the best strategy in the industry?. Please note that Chapter 8 of the text has excellent information for evaluating industry attractiveness.

In paragraphs 6/7 - Identify industry drivers for change (Insert a diagram of a minimum of four driving forces) and then discuss as stated in chapter 3 of the textbook. Remember that the text says that driving forces analysis has three steps.

In paragraph 8 summarize your projections for the industry going forward to the next five years.

Paragraph 9 is the conlusion. In conclusion....... It must be substantive having written 8 paragraphs

This is followed by the reference page. As you are now well aware the title page, abstract, reference page and appendix is not accounted as part of page requirement
Mini-Paper Format

• Submitted in 12-point font, preferably Times New Roman, and double-spaced with 1-inch margins

• The report should incorporate correct form, spelling, grammar, sentence structure, and communication skills

• Each paper should be well-organized and well-written (should not be more than four (4) pages in length)
