What to Do:
1.View the video Blogs in Plain English to get some background information on blogs.
2.Find a blog on a topic that's interesting to you. You can do this by searching Google Blogs or by browsing a blog hosting site like Blogs.com.
3.Once you find an interesting blog, read at least five of the author's postings.
4.Write an analysis of the blog by responding to the questions below. When complete, upload the file below.
Questions to Answer:
1.What is the blog's identifying information? Include the title, author, and URL (web address). Also state how you located the blog.
2.What seems to be the main focus of the blog? Does it deal with a particular subject matter, like organic gardening, or is it more general, such as news commentary?
3.What kind of audience would be drawn to reading this blog on a regular basis? Think about whether gender, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, political persuasion, age, place of residence, occupation, level of education, etc. might play a role in the makeup of this blog's audience.
4.If comments for the blog are available, read a few. Do they reveal any information about the kind of people who are reading this blog?
5.If you decided to start writing your own blog, what would it be on? What kind of audience would be interested in reading it?
