Find one advertisement that has not been covered in class and evaluate it with the theories and themes we've covered so far in the course.

You are only required to use readings from the course syllabus as your sources for this assignment - there is no need to do outside research. Just remember that we will be evaluating your argument by deciding how well you've used the sources covered so far this term on a new text (print, online or television advertisement).

Essays should follow the typical thesis/explanation/conclusion format and be 1,250 words long.

All essays should be submitted to Canvas before the beginning of class on the due date.

Cite all sources according to the MLA format.

Remember that we must be able to find the advertisement to evaluate your argument. Be sure that, if it isn't readily available on-line, there is a copy of the advertisement included with your paper.
