Read the following case study carefully and analyze the situation:
- There can be any sudden situation of panic. It could be because of an intruder entering our house or bad health status at which we are unable to intimate to the people around us. Situations can be many for panicking. Assume that you are working as Project Manager for ABC Company. Ministry of Police would like to develop a panic alarm and they give the project to your company. The main requirement of this system are

- Low cost
- Less delay in sending message
- Adapted to any environment

Case 3:

ABC Hypermarket is run by the ABC Group of companies and has their head office in Muscat. ABC Hypermarket is only in Muscat currently but the management has ambitious plans to setup new stores in Salalah, Sohar and Sur.

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) of ABC Group has requested you, the Systems Manager, to head the project of implementing systems in the new stores and ensure that all of them are to interconnected with each other and with the head office. The new Hypermarkets will run similar systems which are already in place in the Muscat branch. The head office of ABC Group needs to receive monthly Sales related reports from the all the stores. The Systems team should be able to monitor the systems from the head office so that they do not need to travel physically to troubleshoot systems except for critical problems.

Select any one case from above and prepare a document which defines all major aspects of the project and forms the foundation for project management. This document can also be used as an assessment of overall project success. It MUST include the following:
- Problem Definition for the case you have chosen
- Scope of the project
- Requirements Specifications
o Functional and Non Functional Requirements
o Resource Requirements
o Quality Requirements

- Compare two Project methodologies and identify the best methodology for your project.
- Provide scheduling plan - Work Breakdown structure-task list for this project (show predecessors and duration of activities include Gantt chart & Network Analysis Diagram- using MS Project)
- Identify risk and provide relevant mitigation plan
- Cost/Estimation Plan
- Provide Resource Plan for the project
- Provide Training Plan that will ensure staff can be able to use the product effectively.
- Prepare acceptance plan which will include the criteria that will be used by the management to check the project completion and implementation

You are required to work on the case study as a team (three members only) and work by dividing the tasks.

Report details:

Develop your proposal as a group of three members into a professional document of not more than 12 to 15 Pages, and create a PowerPoint presentation to discuss the Case study requirements. The document should include a Title page, Table of Contents, Main report section, Appendix (optional) and Bibliography.
