• What is the true loss when customers leave because of hacking? (consider revenue, repetition, internal brain drain, etc.)

• Can extremely gifted hackers be used for "good" after they have been prosecuted (consider the story of Frank Abagnale)?

• Why do businesses and the U.S. government downplay the significance of a data breach? What can be gained from not being transparent with their customers and/or citizens?
