I agree with your statement that said."I believe that when dealing with life threatening issues, we must be direct and honest as to what participants should expect when to agree to be a part of the research."I believe that with critical diseases doing research is essential for the purpose of finding better medication for the disease, but I also believe that when using human participant, it is fair if they know exactly the risks and benefits they are getting themselves to when deciding to participate in any research studies.

With that, both randomized and control trials randomized participants that involve in each study which helps ensure less to no bias in the study. I also believe that randomized control trial there are potential for ethical issues when the participants in the control group are deprived of having the treatment that could be a benefit to them during the research would consider unethical, and it is endangering human life. But with crossover trial, these potential ethical issues are minimized by allowing participants the opportunities to have both treatments. I also have the same perspective on randomized control trial that the participants that are blinded to receive the placebo are deprived of medical attention they need.

When an individual is not aware that are being deprived of receiving treatment for the disease they had is consider unethical. I feel like a public health researcher should have these personalities because of the type of work they do.
