How do we not only learn from our mistakes but also ensure that these mistakes are not repeated on future projects?

Project managers would agree that although it is important to identify Lessons Learned for the project, the more important and challenging task is to ensure that the Lessons Learned are utilized in order to prevent the same mistakes from being repeated on future projects. This activity will encourage students to brainstorm on this topic and identify strategies that would ensure that Lessons Learned on previous projects improve the results of future projects.
