• As you know from your reading, the retail promotional mix consists of: advertising, public relations, personal selling, and sales promotion. Consider three benefits and three potential drawbacks of each method of promotion. Which of these methods will you use and why?

• Compare and contrast the five procedures for setting a retail promotional budget. Which procedure will you use for your department store chain? Support your view.
