The project that I worked on was for the project management class and it involved designing a cloud based infrastructure for a non-profit organization. The planning phase for the project included:

Describe the challenges that were present throughout the execution of the project identified in Part 1 of this discussion. Suggest improvements that could have been performed during the planning phase to minimize the number of challenges experienced in the latter phases of the project.

While planning we encountered difficulties in drafting the budget as the cost allocation was complex and we did not have any idea on the services provided by third parties, which is essential for the project. Another challenge was creating the work breakdown structure. Without understanding the workload of each tasks, it was impossible to create a WBS.

To overcome this challenges, one must negotiate with these third parties on the rates for their services and understand the basic idea of the project and then divide it into tasks to make designing a WBS easier.
