Assuming the Due Diligence Report from your consortium was successful in the bid, your project team is requested to prepare a Project Management Plan. The major elements of a project management plan are, but not limited to:

Your project team will prepare and present a final report in a PowerPoint presentation. This will be presented to the class.

DEVELOP A PROJECT MANAGEMENT PLAN -

Assume that your consortium's renewable energy supply facility proposal was accepted by the Victorian Government.

The Victorian Govermement has requested that your consortium to submit a Project Management Plan (PMP) of your proposal.

Your consortium has to develop a Project Management Plan to manage the activities required to construct, manage and operate the proposed renewable energy supply facility.

The Project Management Plan (PMP) has the following purpose:

• Provides the preliminary project baseline for scope, cost and schedule;
• Provides a technical description of the scope of work for the project;
• Documents the plans, organisation, structure and systems that will be employed to manage the project;
• Documents the plans, organisation, structure and systems to guide the technical, managerial and administrative participants in the project.
• Document procurement strategy
• Documents the Project governance structure
• Documents the Project monitoring, controls and reporting requirements
• Documents Risk Management strategy
• Documents Quality Assurance
• Documents the plans for managing Sustainability and Environmental safety and health
• Documents the Functional and Operational Requirements for the facility on completion of construction - commissioning, operation and maintenance.
