Please respond to the following. Please use APA format and Cite work.

1) Based on Ellis and Levy article (2008), in your own words, describe what a research worthy problem is --- AND why is it important to clearly identify a research-worthy problem?

A research-worthy problem is an active, real-world issue that can be either mitigated through new research or whose existing research would be greatly augmented by a new investigation. Far from a topic summary, a worthy problem necessitates a current comprehensive cognizance of its related literature before beginning research. The proposed resolutions of the end result must therefore tangibly add to the body of knowledge upon the given subject.

The importance of a "research-worthy" problem may not be apparent aside from its anticipated value within the research community. However, instead of merely bolstering existing expert knowledge, it serves to focus the design, investigation, discussion, and conclusions of the entire research process while simultaneously asserting its place within the field of study. Particularly for the novice researcher, concentration then later verification of a problem's potential research worthiness can prevent superfluous effort.

2) How is peer-reviewed research defined?

The peer-reviewed research is a quality assurance process which are generally done by the intelligent scholars in the topic, which implies that the author will have the chance to modify, revise and resubmit the report before it is prepared to be distributed and the readers will have the quality of work in the reports they are getting to.

In this textbook t, peer-review research is presented as an important aspect when the author states that "the tradition of peer review within journals is a vital part of the self-regulation and quality control exercised by investigators in an area of active scholarship." (Locke et al, 2010, p.35).

2a) What do you think is the potential value that peer-reviewed research provides for your lit review?

The peer-reviewed research papers add validness, verification of work, dependability to the exploration and process to the topics, but without proper peer-review, any article would be suspect of giving false data and information to the readers.

So because of the quality and verification process, peer-reviewed papers have turned out to be the standard for scholarly undertakings and provides the reader a sense of confidence to trust the source.
