The ulimate goal is the success of all students. This may only be attainded through respect and cooperation between the members of the learning community. I believe leadership skills are wrapped around a shared vision.Collaboration in the vision is crucial in order for all to have ownership. It is the leader who needs to faciliate and model this collaboration in order to achieve sustanability of continual achievement for all students. A good leadership is demonstrated by the ability to know when it it time to make those top-down decisions and when it is time to us collaborative skills in the paricipatory process of decision making. data is a major part of the evaluation o f continual improvement of an educational organization. A Leader needs to evaluate, supervise and be an instructional leader to guide the path leading to sucess for all.
It is my conviction that a leader always recongnize that student success is at the center of all decisions. This can only be reached through a learning community built on collaboration, shared vision, and respect for all in the learning community.
