My initial professional aspirations did not lie in business or management. Initially, I had hoped to enter the medical field as a physician with the goal of helping people. While I discovered that this career was not for me, it did not stymie the desire to help people in some way. I chose to concentrate my energy and resources in helping people in the medical field, but this time through management. I could help patients by working in the front office and ensuring that every aspect outside of the exam room is as pleasant as possible. While it isn't as crucial as doing the actual practicing, it is still vital in maintaining the doctor-patient relationship by creating an environment in which the patient feels secure and comfortable. In addition, earning an MBA will help expand my knowledge on a broader scale than was possible via my undergraduate degree, as well as increase my business aptitude and etiquette in a progressive and professional way.Acquiring an MBA degree will give me the tools necessary to accomplish these goals.

I was taking online classes to get my Bachelors in Business administration degree from Davenport University when I moved to Florida from Illinois two years ago. Last August, I completed my degree from Davenport University and since then I have been looking for aschool with a good MBA program in Orlando.
In just a two-year span, I have heard a lot ofgood things about the University of Central Florida. Part of it is my brother-in-law is doing pre-medical from there and he has been liking it. That was one of the reasons which made me want to apply to UCF. Another reason is I prefer taking traditional classes as opposed to the online counter-part, and the University of Central Florida provides the perfect opportunity for me to do just that.

Since the opening the medical-spa last year, I have noticed a professional degree is required to optimize the efficiency in the spa. Also, the knowledge I got from the classes I tookhelped me with my job. For example, the healthcare classes provided me with demographic knowledge in the United States. This, in turn, has helped us with marketing. Similarly, my finance, accounting, management classes have also helped me with my job. At the moment, I work at the front desk, but I have been using my knowledge in marketing the spa on social media, handling the finances and accounting and creating new strategies for promoting the spa at broad level.
