My team's project is about creating a restaurant utilizing "Electronic menu." My homework is to answer three questions about industry goals.

1. Is your industry growing?

2. How large is your industry?

3. Who are the major players in your industry?

Below information is about basic information about our business plan. Our restaurant's name would be "A La Minute" and it's going to utilize "E-menu" to provide better service.

Our potential customers have the need to order restaurant prepared food  without the hassle of waiting for a waiter to make the time to serve them.  They also appreciate being able to order exactly what they want without worrying about communicating it correctly to a waiter who may or may not listen carefully.  Our customers need to be able to express their dissatisfaction or pleasure with their food and service in a less intimidating manner, than confronting an inattentive server directly.--JB

The root cause of this problem is the lack of servers with care or concern for their customers and Managements inability to inform and educate the staff on the importance of customer service and retention.

Our target market would be trendy, down town restaurants who serve a younger, more tech savvy cliente.  Our customers would be on the cutting edge of food service and strive to ensure a unique and pleasant experience for their dining guests.  They want to appeal to a busy lifestyle and cater to their customers needs and wants in an efficient and timely manner without bombarding them with hovering servers and management staff. Our customer wants to be able to track their customers needs and wants by the minute to ensure that they are able to give the best service possible.  They work hard to distinguish themselves from other restaurants by using customizable menus which offer not only a complete list of available food items but, entertainment specific to the restaurant atmosphere as well.
