This paper will focus on the history of technology as it relates to computer science and information technology. From the very general topics listed, choose one area that you are interested in researching. From within that area, select and narrow a topic for your research.

The paper may focus on important individuals, specific inventions, or possibly periods of time.

• The Emergence of Artificial Intelligence

Technical Requirements

• APA Format: Title Page, Abstract, Main Body, and References.

• The suggested length: 15-18 pages.

• Typed, double-spaced on standard-sized paper (8.5" x 11.) with 1" margins on all sides 12 pt. Times New Roman font.

• Four multimedia components such as: Pictures, timelines, graphs, charts, videos, and sound bites

Criteria for the Paper

• Address important questions regarding the introduction of this technology where appropriate.

o What are the tradeoffs the new technology presents?

o Who are the winners and losers as this technology enters general use?

o What is the impact of this new technology on the economies, social, cultural, or political institutions?

o How did the introduction of this technology change structures, patterns or norms in our world?

• The work must be sufficiently complex to require the expertise of junior-senior level students.

• Use several sources for research.

• It includes the understanding that the student will complete all of the work. Park University's honesty regulations as found in the School of Online Learning will be followed.

• Write the Introductory paragraph of your paper and create an outline of the information you plan to present. • Research and write your document using APA formatting.
